Sloppy Joes

1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 stalks celery, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 10 oz can crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
2 tsp. vinegar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
1/4 teaspoon paprika
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted

1. In a Dutch oven over medium heat, cook beef, onion, garlic, celery and green pepper until the meat is not longer pink and the vegetables are tender; drain excess grease. Add the remainder of the ingredients; mix well. Simmer, uncovered, for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. To serve, spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture onto each bun.

Makes 4 servings
