Hundred Dollar Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 ounces Semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

  1. Combine butter and semi-sweet chocolate in a double boiler top.
  2. Place over hot water, stirring until melted. Remove and cool well.
  3. Add egg and stir vigorously.
  4. Stir in confectioners sugar, vanilla and lemon juice. Beat until smooth.
  5. Stir in walnuts and frost cake with icing.
