Chocolate Chip Cookie
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 cup oats (optional)
- 1 bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Stir flour with baking soda and salt, set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat butter with sugar and brown sugar at medium speed until creamy and lightened in color (about 4 minutes).
- Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed until incorporated.
- Gradually blend dry mixture into creamed mixture.
- Stir in nuts, oats, and chocolate chips.
- Drop by tablespoon onto greased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
